Quality is not a coincidence; it is a symbiosis of passionate work, experience and state of the art technology.

Fashion is not an end in itself; it is the expression of zeitgeist and has to fit - in every sense. This is why I made a profession out of my passion. Mission statement: With dresscut I want to provide, especially in difficult times, clothing manufacturers with professional services for the development of collections and access to new potential by means of 3D virtual prototyping. Because the future is digital and it offers medium-sized companies new opportunities to achieve competitive advantages and produce more effectively.

Silke Johannes (née Knuth)

As a pattern maker, I was trained in classical dressmaking and was taught traditional pattern design from scratch. With over 25 years of professional experience I have worked for many famous premium and consumer brands, and for a number of years in management positions. My firm commitment to high quality and perfect craftsmanship has always been the basis for the creation of successful collections. Whether blazers, jackets, coats, dresses, trousers, blouses or jersey items - I feel at home in all womenswear product lines.

My numerous years of experience with various CAD systems and my aspirations for a professional pattern development are today a key element of my work. For the realisation of high quality fashion design I now only work with the Assyst, Vidya and Grafis systems.
